Busy times

Hello hello,

all sorts of things have been happening here, good and bad...I did finish my thesis corrections and am about to send them off, which is good. I also got rather ill and had to stay home with a temperature for three days, which was rotten. I got paid for 3 months, which is amazing. I had to deal with a BAT flying around my house yesterday, which was horrible and terrifying. I have health insurance, which is great and sooo reassuring. I've been feeling a little homesick for everyone and everything, which is sad. I have a journal article accepted, provided I make some revisions, which is also very good (though the deadline for the revised version is Jan 10...)!

So it's been a week of ups and downs, both of which rather extreme at times - but I guess I need to stay strong and keep going, and focus on the positive things. I'm going home for a few days in a fortnight, and that is definitely something to look forward to! It's just a shame I can't come to England as well. Maybe in March, fingers crossed...

I've kept this short again - sorry - but I just wanted to share all these news, while avoiding getting too maudlin.

In Italiano

Salve a tutti,

I'm still quite amused by the bat: it's only a flying mouse. Poor little thing was probably terrified by this shrieking woman chasing it.

Also, more importantly, well done about the article.
